Revolutionizing food on demand at Q8 with Noahs: a glimpse into the future of convenience
Q8 Denmark is breaking new ground with an innovative partnership in a compact footprint and efficient execution. Teaming up with Noahs, a Copenhagen-based food tech company, Q8 has redefined the concept of on-demand food in its petrol stations, combining cutting-edge technology with culinary expertise.
In this week’s episode, hosts Dan Munford and Carolyn Schnare spoke with Martin Stilhoff, strategy and innovation food manager at Q8 Denmark and Daniel Baven, CEO of Noahs Global to dig into their successful colab.
At the heart of this transformation is the integration of Noahs digital food platform, which allows customers to order freshly prepared meals through interactive touchscreens and via their phones. Once orders are placed, they are efficiently prepared in Noahs kitchens. “We wanted to create a unique experience for our customers, where they can access high-quality food in a space-efficient way, without compromising the traditional convenience store setup,” said Martin Stilhoff, strategy and innovation food manager at Q8 Denmark.
One of the standout features of the new setup is its ability to cater to both walk-in customers and delivery aggregators, like Uber Eats, through a streamlined process. A designated pickup area ensures that delivery drivers don’t disrupt the customer flow within the store, enhancing overall efficiency. “Our technology allows for an incredibly efficient kitchen setup. We’re able to optimize space and still offer a broad menu, all while keeping operations smooth,” said Daniel Baven, CEO of Noahs.
The collaboration has proven so successful that Q8 is exploring ways to scale this concept across more of its locations, both large and small. With a focus on digital platforms and customer experience, Q8 and Noahs are setting the stage for what could be the next big shift in foodvenience, combining speed, quality, and technology to meet modern consumer demands.
