Adande on the Road: Karl Explores US C- Stores and American Sights

This summer, Karl, the Managing Director of Adande Refrigeration, embarked on a business trip across the United States. His mission was to visit a variety of convenience stores and explore how Adande Refrigeration could better serve the needs of American businesses with a few fun stops along the way!
Focusing on the Details
From vibrant city centres to suburban convenience stores, the trip provided Karl with first-hand insights. One standout visit was to Ford’s Garage, where the attention to detail was impeccable.
The vintage décor and inviting atmosphere underscored the company’s commitment to customer experience, a value that Adande shares deeply. Whether in restaurants or convenience stores, it was clear that customer service was a priority, with team members consistently providing friendly, helpful assistance. These small but significant details are what keep customers coming back.
A New Scale of Convenience
One of the most noticeable differences between the U.S. and the U.K. is the sheer scale of operations. Everything is bigger—from long gas station lines and massive trucks on the road to the vast food choices at convenience stores.
Observing this, Karl realized the importance of efficiency in high-traffic environments. With large customer volumes and a need for quick service, streamlined workflows are essential. Adande refrigerated drawers, with their ability to maintain freshness and speed up service, would be a perfect fit in these bustling settings.
Catching Up in Dallas

Karl’s next stop was Dallas, the home of the Adande U.S. office. There, he reconnected with team members Rocio and Leo, who were busy finalising plans for the upcoming NACS Show. Their collaboration and excitement set the stage for an impressive showcase at the event.
Looking Ahead
As the trip has now come to a close, the Adande team now turns their attention to the exciting Insight Research trip in Philadelphia and Pennsylvania with the GCSF team.
We look forward to seeing the team there before the NACS Show, 7-10 October, where Adande will be exhibiting at booth C5084 –
The team is excited to introduce the new VCC1 Compact drawer to the U.S. market and offer visitors to our NAC Show booth the chance to win a Dak Prescott Dallas Cowboys Autographed White Nike Limited Jersey in a fun raffle.
It’s an exciting time for Adande in the U.S., and the future looks bright!
