Site Overview
The Campo de Naciones station is a premier urban charging hub catering to a diverse clientele, including private EV users, light commercial vehicles, and fleet operators.
The site is designed as a high-tech, multi-energy destination that integrates retail, leisure, and charging services under one roof. The 300m² retail area features a Moeve Market in partnership with Carrefour, offering a wide selection of groceries, household products, and para-pharmacy items.
The site’s Food Hall provides a variety of dining options, including brands such as DESFASE, Aloha Poke, Black Turtle, and R’SPIRO. Customers can enjoy their meals indoors, on the terrace, take them to go, or order for home delivery.
The hub also boasts premium amenities such as free high-speed Wi-Fi, and digitalized services for a seamless customer experience. The site is entirely sensor-based, enabling personalized offers through digital signage, heatmap analytics for optimized retail placement, and digital ticketing via the Moeve GOW app or WhatsApp.
By the end of 2025 the hub will have renewed and achieved a state-of-the-art car wash facility, including a 42-meter wash tunnel capable of handling 110 vehicles per hour, 17 self-service pressure wash bays, and 26 vacuum stations, as well a dedicated 100m² children’s play area and an event activation space.
EV Charging
Moeve owns and operates the EV chargers at the Campo de Naciones site, ensuring a seamless, high-performance charging experience. The station features:
- 6 ultra-fast DC chargers (350 kW) powered by 100% renewable energy.
- Additional 6 chargers charging points to be installed and commissioned during 2025.
- Interoperability agreement that will improve availability for customers from both Moeve and Ionity.
- Safe passage for clients to the whole retail area with cross-selling and tailored offers for EV customers.
- Integrated solar panels (150 units generating 112 MWh/year) to supply daytime energy, with excess fed into the grid.
- Smart queuing and digital signage to optimize charging bay availability.
- Enhanced lighting and eco-friendly canopy coverage for comfort and safety.
Utilisation rate
Moeve’s overall network is monitored using real-time data. This information is controlled within a Control Room. This Control Room is also connected to the Customer Support Center who has the possibility to act as a level 1 support. This provides a best-in-class customer experience.
Moeve’s % utilisation rate is expressed in terms of available energy and time of the day. Each charging point has its own rate, and it goes up to 11% on % utilisation rate of the time available, and 5% in available energy.
It’s worth mentioning Moeve’s network is always ultra-fast, with charging points with 150kW power and above, which impacts on the % of utilisation in terms of energy available.
Historical data analysis is made in each charging point as a double check to make sure the charging point is working properly.
Ionity has presence in the station with 6 x 350kW charging points.
Uptime
Moeve works hard to ensure a consistent uptime of over 98% through continuous remote monitoring, predictive maintenance, and on-site technical support.
As mentioned above, a Control Tower monitors the entire network in real time. Our CPMS is connected to a set of automated alerts that trigger different tickets based on the required level of service (L1, L2, or L3).
- L1 issues can be resolved by the Customer Support team directly on each charger.
- L2 issues need to be escalated but do not require physical corrections on the charger (i.e. invoicing)
- L3 issues necessitate physical maintenance on the charger.
Fortunately, Moeve has an extensive network of suppliers who work at the Service Stations. These suppliers have been trained and certified to perform both preventive and corrective maintenance on the charging points.
Maintenance
Moeve employs an AI-powered predictive maintenance system that detects potential faults before they occur. A dedicated maintenance team performs regular checks, while real-time diagnostics allow for immediate troubleshooting. The site also features a remote assistance service via the Moeve gow app to provide instant customer support.
As indicated above, Moeve has an extensive network of suppliers who work at the Service Stations. These suppliers have been trained and certified to perform both preventive and corrective maintenance on the charging points. Chargers are controlled in real-time 24/7 and trigger automated alerts to the corresponding teams depending on the level of service needed.
