Filmed live on Friday 14th August 2020.
Seven months into 2020; the year of COVID-19, Shop TALK LIVE reflects and takes stock on our shared, global experience of convenience store and forecourt operations in the Pandemic. The programme begins with a presentation from Sid Gaitonde, SVP and GM, Global Logistics Solutions at PDI. This exclusive data, created especially for Shop Talk LIVE, reveals both similarities and, interestingly, some contrasts between fuels sales performance across all global regions since January.
Dan Munford, our host will be considering the implications of these numbers with Sid as a perfect way to tee up the second part of our STL episode which deals with new operational realities and best practice; how can retailers increase sales by developing safer environments which take into account the importance of “clean” to safety obsessed customers?
For the second part of our show we find out more about ‘The Global Forecourt Experience Challenge’. This successful global initiative features teams from Circle K, Coen Markets, Engen South Africa, Maxol, OTR Australia and Puma Energy. We’ll be asking representatives from all six teams about their experiences so far and how they’ve shared ideas and best practices to help each-other. As you’ll find out, in many ways, it has proven quite an inspirational and unique experience for everybody involved.
Guests include Rodrigo Zavala, CEO, Puma Americas, Colin Dornish, Director of Operations at Coen Markets, Mark Cribbin, Irish Operations Manager, Aramark, Aled Ball, Operations Manager, OTR Australia, Wayne Gonsalves, Convenience Operations Manager, Engen, Tony Castro, Fuel Operations Director, TXBU, Circle K and Mike G Zahajko, Executive Vice President, Sales, CAF.
