Dealing with a Digitally Disrupted World – with MOL Group and Jiffy
István Mag, Head of Digital Factory at MOL Group and co-founder of Jiffy Grocery London, Vladimir Kholiaznikov join Dan Munford and co-host Dan Harrell, Chief Innovation Officer at Invenco.
In this episode of Shop Talk LIVE we focus on a key strategic question for our industry: How should convenience and roadside retailers respond to a digitally disrupted world?
Jiffy Grocery, ultra-fast, 15 minute delivery

Jiffy Grocery, a London based delivery service, believes that the winning model for the future of convenience is ultra-fast, 15 minute delivery of fresh and household essentials out of its ‘dark store’ locations in Central, South and East London.
Co-founder Vladimir Kholiaznikov talks about their plans and what his learnings are from the Russian market which, it turns out, is like China and India, quite a mature market for ultra-fast delivery.
MOL Group, Head of Digital Factory
MOL Group with 1,900 service stations in 10 countries is at the other end of the scale and is already a huge roadside retailer with a highly impressive new gastro concept, Fresh Corner now rolled out to 1,000 locations.

The integrated, international oil and gas giant is headquartered in Budapest, Hungary and operates in Central Eastern Europe. Head of Digital Factory István Mag presents on MOL Group’s digital strategy, talking about success to date and its path towards becoming a digitally-driven consumer goods retailer and integrated, complex mobility service provider by 2030.
Digital agility
Helping us work out what all this means and co-hosting this episode with Dan Munford is Dan Harrell, Chief Innovation Officer at Invenco.

Along with Craig Panter we consider some of the constraints traditional fuel-providing c-store retailers are faced with when trying to adapt legacy systems. In a conversation framed around the urgency to adapt, we’ll look at how to “ease into” digital agility. Craig is NACS Asia Regional Committee Member and Chief Business Development Officer.
Global Convenience Store Focus would like to thank Liquid Barcodes, Shopworks, LIFEBRANDS, Invenco and Fri-Jado for their continued support of Shop Talk LIVE.
